The story starts: She was an innocent prisoner, a victim of circumstances, a victim of this cruel, canny world and was serving her sentence in a prison awaiting execution. He was in the same prison, about to be freed and he met her one day. He saw her innocence, he deeply thought of what she termed as a crime. 'No', he said, 'you ought to be free'. But the man was determined to set her free, he did not give up, he had to take her out, he broke all the walls of the prison, he was fatally wounded by the time the last wall was broken. To those of you who are asking where am I. I've left the world which meant everything to me, I'll pen something here only when I return to fulfill the promise for which I left everything. Who you thought I was, is the person I'm trying to be...
oh yes, I know how that feels. Just when you need someone, they disappear, at all other times, they are around. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteYes, it takes strength to say " I need you "
ReplyDeleteIt takes a lot of guts to confess self weakness and to say that "I need you, right now". I do.
ReplyDeleteSo true.. But why does it become so hard for the person to tell this to her..
ReplyDeletethe last line was beautiful
ReplyDeletetruly honest! wish i cud make such confession 2...
ReplyDeleteAnd I am confused when I am with you...
ReplyDeleteI find peace when I'm confused
Nice words.
Once again, very touching and true-sometimes it is better to accept your weakness and urge him/her to become your strength, rather than keeping mum and feeling torn from inside, with each passing day.
ReplyDeleteGood expression dear...
ReplyDeleteI'll be there with You... I'll never leave you alone... Believe in me.. I know You do.
ReplyDeletewow, that is so well written!
ReplyDelete"i need u" lovely!!!!
ReplyDeleteat times we need him/her to be our pillar of strength when we are falling apart. and don't we actually want them to just read our eyes rather having to confess!!!
Confessions are meant for the ears of God ... not mortals... who are themselves struggling to become even human...
